Although Summer seems to have left in quite a hurry, we can still send it out in Zumba style! Join us for our last outdoor free fitness class of the season on Wednesday Sept. 25 from 6:50PM-7:45PM in Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn. Although our event is free, a suggested donation of $10 is greatly appreciated and will help to cover event costs, so do please give as generously as you are able! You can make your donation at paypal.me/talithadance or via Venmo @talitha-james-2. There can be no cash exchanged on site at the event. Register for the event at talithadancefarewellsummer.eventbrite.com.
Please note:
We’ll be partying outdoors on the North Lawn of Cadman Plaza Park just behind the Brooklyn War memorial (not on the synthetic grass lawn, but on the real grass lawn).
There is no functioning water fountain so please bring water!
There is nowhere to change, please wear your workout gear.
We’ll be dancing past sundown so prepare for a potential evening chill once the sun has set, comfortable clothing with layers (light sweater/hoodie, sweats) is recommended.
Our party is occurring on a lawn so take note the ground may be uneven, sneakers are also recommended.
Photos will be taken for promotional purposes, if you would rather not be photographed or recorded please let us know and we will accommodate your request.
Our Zumba® class is a moderate intensity workout to Caribbean, Latin, African, and other world rhythms, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Movement progressions and modifications make this routine available to all levels, no dance experience necessary.
