Handmade pasta

For those of us still hibernating, here's @loveandlemons' homemade pasta recipe I tried and promised to share a while back. They asked fans to not share their recipe but you can head to their website (loveandlemons.com) for the details on how to make this simple 4 ingredient pasta!

The directions call for a pasta maker (or the compatible attachment for a KitchenAid Mixer), which undoubtedly makes this process less labor intensive. However, I still enjoyed making this completely by hand. I just rolled each quarter of dough out with a rolling pin until it was thin enough to see the shadow of my fingers through when held up to the light. To cut it, I drew lines down the length of the rolled dough with a sharp knife (see the last photo for my first attempt making this recipe). If you happen to have a Kitchenaid Mixer, you could probably use it to knead the dough as well!

The noodles cooked so quickly and came out deliciously. I'm excited to try adding my own herbs and spices to the dough mix to make my own seasoned noodles! If you try it, let me know how it went for you.
