Small Group Personal Training Sessions
Our small group training (SGT) is a 3-month course that moves you along your individual journey with intention and social support. If you’re ready to go now, you can buy your package here and sign up for an upcoming intro session. If you’d like to book a quick 15-min consultation first you can grab a spot here. Your $15 consultation fee can be applied within 30 days to the purchase of any service we determine together will work best for you.
There are 3 sessions per course - one per month. Each session includes (1) 45 min in-person personal training with 2-3 other people (your teammates), personalized fitness homework between sessions, and (1) virtual check-in. All course dates must be attended, we will agree on the session dates in our intro meetup, which is virtual. Commitment and consistency will see you meet your goals, and we’ll be right there to guide you with built in social motivation, custom fitness programs, and personal instructor attention to align with your goals. Enrollment for each 3-month course is open for 1 month, starting every other month. For example: enrollment is open in December for our January-March course. Enrollment for the January-March course will close on December 31. Enrollment will open again starting in March to fill seats in our April-June course. Enrollment for the April-June course will close on March 31. And so on.
FAQ:
How is this different than group fitness classes?
Our SGT courses have 2-3 participants on average, with a maximum of 4 people in each session, our group fitness classes have up to 10 people. In our SGT courses everyone is not doing the same thing. We’re all in the same room, enjoying the same music, we might warm up together and cool down together but the work you are doing is the homework for your particular program. Our SGT comes with mandatory check-ins outside of the studio to keep tabs on progress and enhance accountability, group fitness classes are over once the music stops. You must sign up for all the times offered in your SGT course (we determine these together to ensure it fits with your schedule), whereas you can drop-in to any one of our group fitness classes.
May I do a SGT session without enrolling in the full course?
There is only one exception to enrollment in the full SGT course. If you are planning to do at least one 1:1 Personal Training session and would like to do the mandatory initial assessment as a SGT session, you may. This option is only available with purchase of an accompanying 1:1 Personal Training session. How long are the SGT sessions?
Each meetup (virtual or in-person) is 45-50 minutes.
What does the intro meetup entail?
Our intro meetup is a virtual meeting with the instructor and the 1-2 other participants that will be going through the 3-months with you (your teammates). You will meet and get to know each other, while in the private chat you can discuss with your instructor any questions from your health/history questionnaire (given beforehand). You will share your goals, and create a S.M.A.R.T. plan with the instructor to determine exactly when you will be committing to do your homework assignments (you can pair up with a buddy for accountability). You will also collectively select the next meet-up date, if not the next two or three.
Is nutrition coaching included with SGT sessions?
We include some general nutrition guideline basics in our SGT course. For individual nutrition coaching support book a 1:1 nutrition session separately or join one of our foodie workshops.
IMPORTANT NOTES TO CONSIDER:
-No shows (i.e. you don’t show up and don’t communicate beforehand that you won’t be coming) will forfeit the session. 2 consecutive no-shows result in removal from the program without refund.
-Refunds only available for 14 days after purchase.
-No refunds after 1st session is used.
