Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) is one of our studio’s locations in midtown. Located at 446 W. 36th Street, on 36th between 9th Ave and 10th Ave, the entrance to the studio is to the left, ring the bell upon arrival. MCC does not have an elevator and is not wheelchair accessible. The studio is on the 3rd floor.
It is advised to bring water as there is no place to fill a bottle outside of the restroom. Our studio provides limited quantities of bottled water for sale for $1. Bringing a mat for our Barre and Strong by Zumba (HIIT) classes is also highly recommended as the floors at this location are older and have splinters. Our studio provides a limited quantity of mats for rent for $2. There is no A/C in the winter at this location so dressing in layers that keep you cool is recommended.
MCC offers a spiritual home for New York City's LGBTQI Community and is open to all. It is their dream that people from all walks of life can live together in right relationships and sharing their gifts, talents and resources. No city on earth, no community of faith, is better poised to live out that dream than NYC and MCCNY. Learn more about MCC at mccny.org.

For our safety, doors are locked 10 minutes after class time so if you believe you may be late, be sure to let us know. This location does not have a place to get water outside of the restroom. Our studio provides limited quantities of bottled water for sale for $1. There are mats and limited quantities of fitness equipment available to use for free at this location. There is no A/C in the winter so be sure to dress in layers that will keep you cool while working out.
Dancewave is a dance education nonprofit that focuses on the development of the whole person through a dance experience accessible to all. Our classes are independent of theirs, so if you’d like to check them out separately, visit their website at dancewave.org.
